I went 1, 1 for 1st overall. I had pretty decent starts and it was a fun race, This race gave me a chance to work on my sprint speed which will help in the WORCS series. It was a good day.

We finished 1st Overall. I teamed up with Bobby Garrison for the Pro race in the Big 6 GP. They used a Lemans start and I was taking the first lap. I ran to my bike and I’ll be darned if I could get it started. I was dead last off of the gate with 19 teams now in front of me. We had our work cut out for us. This was not really my type of race with high speed fire roads etc. We overalled and won the race by 4 minutes. Colton Udall was clocked with a radar gun at 97 MPH, I don’t even want to know what ours was! All in all a great race and a great day.
Top 3 Teams:
1. Justin Soule’/Bobby Garrison 2. Colton Udall/ Mark Samuels 3. Kelly Evan/Ryan Abbatoye
On Saturday I finished 6th and Sunday 5th for 6th overall for the weekend. This is one of my favorite WORCS venues. I just love this place. A lot of Spring breakers, a lot of spectators and just a fun hard sandy course. It was about 75 degrees so not too bad for Havasu. This race always has a good turn out for racers and this week end we had 27 Pro’s. I have been putting in a lot of work. I came into this weekend fired up, and had been training hard for this race.
On Saturday, I started off good, but made some aggressive passes that didn’t pay off. I came together with Gary Sutherlin and we both went down, which was my fault. I got back up, kept charging, and reeled in third place pretty quick. I was right behind him, but got blinded by some dust off a jump and got kicked sideways on the landing which really put me to the ground. I lost two positions and that was pretty much the end of the race for me. I ended up finishing in sixth.
I woke up Sunday really hurting, my body was so beat up, which made the race even more difficult. I did okay, finishing in fifth, but I’m not super pumped about the results. It’s really frustrating because I know I can win, it just seems like I’ve had some bad luck lately.

1st moto 2nd, 2nd Moto 3rd for 3rd overall. It was a fun race with a great race course. The second moto I went down in the first corner and came from last to finish 3rd out of a 43 person gate. So all in all had a good day.
1st overall. I wasn’t planning to race this due to the MRSA I was being treated for. But at the last minute I received the go ahead from my Doctor. So I teamed up with Taylor Robert my Kawasaki team mate. It was two individual loops of 18 or so miles. I took the technical loop and Taylor took the faster wide open loop. It was a lot of fun and reminded me a lot of the riding I grew up with in Reno.
