2010

I finished 3rd. This was a new venue for the WORCS series. I really liked the course it reminded me a lot of a dry Honey Lake.

My start was pretty good I was in 3rd and Rookstool got around me putting me in 4th. On the 3rd lap I moved back into 3rd and rode aggressive but I could not catch the 1st and 2nd spots. This was actually a great race for me I rode smooth with no crashes.

The pro section did have this one bad section that was unnecessary, a 6 foot drop off with a G out into an immediate climb up a hill. You had to hit it just right and be ready to accelerate up the hill, I never could land it right. In the pro qualifier on Saturday I damaged my bike (wheel and pipe) as did many other racers. Therefore, in the race I chose the alternate line, which ended up being a wise choice. It cost me time on Dietrich and Caselli, but several racers attempting the section did not fare so well in the race. So it turned out to be a good move for me.
