In the Pro Open on Friday they ran a two moto format. I finished 7th and 5th for 5th overall. I feel like I rode really well this week end in spite of being real sick with the flu.

The start was really important and the first two laps were totally hair ball, literally handle bar to handle bar racing with a lot of banging.

In the Pro 450 there were two divisions and I had to qualify for the main. I finished 3rd in the first Division qualifier. In the main I finished 7th. I had an excellent start in the qualifier and it was great to run up front and separate from the pack. In the main my start was not so good, somewhere around 12th to 15th. So I had to fight hard for every position. All in all it was a great week end. I love racing Mammoth for me it is almost like a vacation.

My next race is Endurocross in Las Vegas, Nevada. So now it is time to shift gears and get my rock and log riding dialed in.
