04/19/2009 WORCS Round 4, Hollister, California

     I finished 13th out of 29 Pro’s.  This was a terrible race for me, it

     was kind  of like what didn’t go wrong.  I did get a pretty good start

     about 4th-5th off the gate.  Then on the second turn I hit wheels with

     Taylor Robert and crashed.  By the time I remounted I was in second to

     last.  

    

     It was pretty hot about 90-95 degrees with dusty off road conditions.  So

     now I find myself battling for every position througn the dust.  First lap I

     came in around 12th and just continued to pick off positions.  I moved

     into about 5th or 6th and was behind Nathan Woods and Damon 

     Huffman.  Huffman put an aggressive move on Woods and Woods

     crashed I ran into his bike and totally bent my rear back brake.  I made a  

     pit stop to try and fix the brake.  KTM mechanics Anthony and Andrew

     were doing everything to bend the brake out and it ended up snapping 

     off.  They replaced it and I left the pit in about 22nd position.  So I

     finished 13th and was able to salvage some points.

    

     I’ ll put this race behind me and look forward to the next one.

    

     I moved back to 5th overall in points.  My next race is WORCS Round 5 at

     Honeylake May 10th, I am looking forward to it.
